Acceptable Use Policy
This policy protects customers, users, suppliers and infrastructure. It applies to all access to our platforms, networks, hosting, APIs, Wi-Fi and managed systems.
1. General duty
Users must act lawfully, reasonably and in a way that does not harm, overload, mislead, compromise or interfere with any person, system, network, service or reputation.
2. Prohibited activity
You must not use a Service to:
- commit, facilitate, encourage or conceal unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, extremist or harmful activity;
- infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy, data protection or contractual rights;
- send spam, unlawful marketing, phishing, scams, malware or deceptive communications;
- host, transmit or distribute malicious code, credential theft tools, botnets, ransomware or exploit kits;
- gain or attempt unauthorised access, probe, scan, enumerate, intercept or bypass security controls;
- conduct denial-of-service, stress testing, load testing or vulnerability testing without prior written authorisation;
- impersonate another person, falsify headers, manipulate identity, conceal origin or evade enforcement;
- collect, scrape, monitor or profile individuals unlawfully;
- store or disclose special-category, criminal-offence, payment-card or highly sensitive data where the Service is not designed for it;
- resell, sublicense, share or provide bureau access unless the Order allows it;
- use excessive bandwidth, storage, CPU, API calls, messages or automated requests that impair others; or
- circumvent usage limits, licences, billing, access controls or suspension.
3. Content and communications
The Client is responsible for content submitted by its users and for ensuring that booking, email, SMS, Wi-Fi and marketing communications are accurate, lawful and not misleading. Service communications must not be repurposed to evade marketing consent requirements.
4. Security requirements
Users must protect credentials, use MFA where available, keep devices reasonably secure, apply updates, avoid shared administrator accounts and report suspected compromise promptly.
Default passwords, exposed management interfaces, unauthorised port forwarding and unsupported encryption may be blocked or changed.
5. Fair usage
Where no specific usage allowance is stated, use must remain consistent with ordinary business use for the purchased plan. We may contact the Client, rate-limit, require an upgrade or charge overages where usage is materially disproportionate or creates cost or stability risk.
6. Guest Wi-Fi
Guest Wi-Fi users must not engage in illegal downloading, harassment, intrusive scanning, circumvention, excessive streaming, unauthorised business activity or activity likely to expose the venue or provider to complaint or liability.
7. Investigation and preservation
We may review logs and metadata reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, protect systems, comply with law or respond to a complaint. We may preserve relevant evidence and disclose it where lawfully required.
8. Enforcement
We may warn, restrict, quarantine, remove content, block devices, rate-limit, suspend or terminate access. Urgent action may be taken without notice. The Client is responsible for resulting remediation, investigation and restoration costs where a breach is attributable to it or its users.
9. Reporting abuse
Suspected abuse should be reported through the support portal with relevant dates, identifiers, evidence and contact details. Knowingly false, vexatious or abusive reports are prohibited.
Legal notices
Formal notices must be sent using the notice method stated in the applicable Order or through the authenticated customer portal. Where no method is stated, notices may be delivered to the registered office above. Operational support messages are not formal legal notices unless expressly identified as such.
